Our mission
APK Consulting is the consulting branch of APK Studios. It works with schools, children’s museums, and cultural institutions to place music at the center of meaningful learning experiences.
Whether designing a school programme or shaping the musical dimension of a museum space, the aim is the same: to ensure that music is not simply present, but intentional, helping children connect experience with understanding.

School programmes
APK Consulting works with schools to design structured, music-based programmes for children from early childhood through adolescence. These programmes adapt to each school’s rhythm, context, and constraints.
Music is used as a practical learning tool. Through song and collective practice, concepts become concrete, attention is sustained, and learning is experienced rather than explained from the outside.
Museum Curation
APK Consulting also works as a music curator for children’s museums and cultural venues. This involves thinking carefully about how music supports exhibitions, installations, and educational paths over time.
Sound is not added as atmosphere. It is designed as part of the pedagogical structure of a space, supporting comprehension, memory, and engagement. When original compositions are required, they are developed in close dialogue with the curatorial and educational teams, ensuring coherence between content and experience.

The Challenge & Our Approach
Many cultural spaces for children are visually impressive and technologically rich. The deeper question remains: what do children actually take with them once the experience is over?
APK Consulting addresses this directly. Without clear pedagogical intention and well-prepared educators, experiences risk remaining momentary. Our work focuses on helping institutions move beyond immediate impact toward learning that settles, returns, and continues to grow after the visit or the lesson.

Our approach combines careful observation with structured design. We help institutions clarify what they want children to understand, how learning unfolds, and how music can support that process without overwhelming it.
Consulting work focuses on alignment: between content and form, experience and meaning, intention and outcome. Music is not presented as a solution in itself, but as a powerful medium when it is thoughtfully integrated into a broader educational vision.
