Music, learning, and play at Dadu Children’s Museum in Doha

APK Consulting collaborates with Dadu Children’s Museum, a landmark cultural project developed by Qatar Museums and set to open in a purpose-built building designed by UNStudio. Conceived as an immersive environment for learning through play, Dadu combines bold architecture, dynamic visual identity, and discovery-driven programming to support children from early years through late childhood.

Aligned with Dadu’s constructivist approach, APK Consulting contributes to the integration of music and sound across the museum’s learning ecosystem. Music is explored as a playful, accessible language that supports creativity, communication, and mark-making within gallery environments and educational programmes.

Rooted in the meaning of “Dadu” - play, fun, and the traces children leave behind through exploration, this collaboration supports the development of musical frameworks that are inclusive, culturally grounded, and designed to invite children and families to learn, create, and connect through play.
